Passat 1.4tsi fuel filter location?

    Anyone know where this is located and how often it should be changed?

    2011 B7 with 120,000km.

    If you search youtube with fuel filter passat b7 there are a few videos that shows where it is and how to replace etc

    Cheers, I did Google it but had no luck, will try again. Lots for diesel but cant find any petrol.

    I’m pretty sure they don’t have a serviceable filter like a Golf does for example. There is a filter but it’s part of the pump unit inside the fuel tank so changing it is a bit involved. That is certainly how the older 1.6FSI was anyway.

    Silly VW. Car is running fine but was just thinking it may need changing after 6 years and 120k. Best to leave it alone George?

    It's up to you really. It would be fine to leave it alone, that's what the vast majority of people do. I think the part is around €115 ex VAT or so.
