Just on the Dart at the moment and there are kids placing tissues on each seat with a note....

Presumably they want people to buy them... wouldn't have thought Irish Rail would be allowing this?

You should report the train service to IE.

Try and get the attention of staff at the city centre stations if possible if its heading tru there or tell the driver of the train so he can radio ahead. Staff will kick em off and throw em out if they can. Take a photo and send it to the IR twitter as well if ya like makes it a bit easier to identify these career beggers.

The driver won't want to know and rightly so. He's enough to do driving the train. Not his job to be policing his passengers.

They wont necessarily go back and kick em off himself but he CAN ring control and get nearby security/staff to boot their cheap asses off the train.

The union wouldn't have their members going above and beyond

I've seen them on DARTs on the South side. They just come on for a few stops while they leave their tissues and do the circuit of the DART until they collect their notes (often laminated) and get off for the next run. They don't go all the way into town and I have not seen them at rush hour. The people I saw were adult males, but there is probably a family/gang involved.
