    Moved out from old thread

I don't see them on www.tyrereviews.co.uk which is usually a good source for reviews

D&D detailing in Cork stock them.

I'd be a bit wary - after a little googling it appears Blacklion tyres are made by Sailun Tyres which are owned by Mesnac co. which is a chinese tyre manufacturer set up in 2002. Sounds a bit convulated - why don't Mesnac just manufacture them directly? What's Sailun's brand reputation like? Or Mesnac's?

My four corners are shid with Blacklion.
No real issues. Had a couple of full anchor out moments and no issues whatsoever.
The only thing I have noticed is that in heavy rain on the motorway at speed I can feel a little bit of 'drift' so usually slow down. BUT having said that I know the car needs to get a full track and wheel alignment so that may be causing the 'drift' .

Ad €5 per tyre and get something with a name that shows up in Google...

Indeed hard to find any info on them. I looked up last year, and couldn't fine them in any tests or even tyre review websites. I couldn't even see them anywhere for sale online.

Reason I was looking, was beacause I bought a car with a set of brand new Blacklions.
Did around 3k km in Ireland, and then drove through Continent on motorways mostly in rain for about 2k km, and another 1k km in Poland on wet slippy roads.

Grip IMO was very reasonable, but worse than on the like on Hankook or Uniroyal.
Definitely better than Triangle, Alpha Accelera, Infinity and the likes.

had a ring around, got a quote for 4 Goodyear 185/65 R15 tyres for €320 tracked and balanced so think I'll go with that, thanks for your comments and help

I love these tyres, price is important for me but I don't want any old sh1te. They're good in the rain, last a good 50k km with rotation and stop when you want them to stop! Tick all the boxes.

I have the feeling you wrote this as a positive experience wearing Blacklions, but my palms got sweaty..
