    Hi All,

I'm hoping you might be able to give some advice when filling out the Assessable Spouse election form. My wife and I are both PAYE workers and we make 82k and 32k with 2 dependents and no other income.

My wife is moving to part-time work next year so we'd expect her salary to reduce to approximately 20k.

What is the best options to select when filling out the Spouse election form? We've been married since 2014 but we've been singly assess since we've got married.

Appreciate any help you can give.

    Thanks,
    Anto

Best option would be to leave the tax credits as is, as at €20K she'll need them anyway. Potential to move €9,000 of the Cut-off point to the higher earning spouse.
