    Hi there,

I've never lodged a cheque in my life, always used a bank transfer.

I now need to lodge one and I am not actually in the country so not sure how I can do. I've KBC, does anyone have a clue on how to proceed? Can I ask someone else to lodge it for me?

    Thank you!

Usually, yes, but get in touch with them if you're not sure.

I rarely go to the bank to lodge cheques anymore because because the automated machines can't read the damn things. I just post them in with a lodgement slip. Never an issue.

    From the KBC website.

You can lodge a cheque to your KBC Current Account or Deposit Account (where the account allows) by visiting one of our Hubs or posting the cheque to KBC Bank Ireland Plc, PO Box 12421, Sandwith Street, Dublin 2 along with your account details.

It will take about 7 business days to clear into your account.
