New Porch Design

Hi All,
So we are looking to get our porch built and I'm on the hunt for any ideas that would be useful to incorporate in the design. The design would be similar to the this one. So far, my wishlist is as follows:

- Do the complete porch in brick work
- Fully insulated all around with Kingspan
- Window on each side.
- Plenty of storage for shoes, coats and umbrellas.
- Double glazed french doors in either white or black.
- Solid wood canopy with integrated spot lights
- Dug in carpet either inside or outside of the porch.

I would love to have an entry for the cat but I reckon it would be pointless to insulate it then. Is there anything more I would need to look out for?
