Argon18 nitrogen - braking

Anyone have a nitrogen. I have the 2015 version. Whist I love the bike I just can't stand the brakes. They are the trp direct mount v brake. Just constantly seem to be adjusting them and find that no matter how thight they are to rim there is still too much play on lever. Anyone know of any brake upgrade that can be used ?
