    Hi all

Looking to replace or at least bridge the SKY provided modem/router with something more flexible.

I don't have a flibre connection, just standard broadband.

Anybody know if this is possible and if so, what brand router might work?

    Thanks

Are you technically good? Extracting the credentials is a tricky enough process. This is a problem unique to sky.

Not bad. Assuming I can get past this hurdle, is the brand and/or type of router irrelevant?

    Cheers

Any ADSL2+ unit will work. Dime a dozen. Ideally get something with N300 for robust wifi.
