Should I buy a second watch

Personally I think you should buy the watch, get sick of it after a few months, and then sell it to me at a massive discount?!

Seriously though, I do think the nomos is a stunning watch. It's also quite different to the tudor, bit more formal, so you could justify it that way.

There is nothing normal about owning more than one watch. That's why we're here.

    Buy the Nomos; they're lovely.

Go for the Nomos. Nice watches.

Shall I do it, or is it kind of stupid, as you can really only wear one watch.

How is it stupid? You have two wrists don't you? :P :D

    So, buy buy buy!

Normally I'd run a mile from a watch with a sub dial instead of a centre seconds hand, but Nomos dials are so good I'll make an exception for them, my only suggestion, if you're spending c 2.5k on a watch do lots of research, for us that's the fun part, then buy one of those Nomos with the blued hands......enjoy.

I'm sure this has been asked before, but wondering shall I buy another good watch. I currently have the Tudor Black Bay 35 (steel strap), and considering buying a Nomos Tangente Neomatik

You should have as many good watches as you have good suits.

Totally making that up. But, I like having a pick of watches.

Ya, I like research, and already have Black Bay 35 so already spent this money on a watch.

I'd love to get the new one Neomatik 39 Silvercut, if it was a smaller size, but that'd be giant on my wrists

Funnily enough, I’ve a tangente and been looking at a few different Black Bays as my second mechanical watch. Love the Nomos, especially love the new darker dials. Also don’t be worried about them being too formal, they look good dressed down with a velour strap.

If you're thinking of going for it, check out the sellers on C24. You should be able to save 3-400 euro.

I don't mind it being formal considering the Black Bay is more casual. Gives a change up, and I wear shirt and tie for work anyway so will fit in with that. Can keep Black Bay for evenings and weekends then

The number of watches a person should own is N+1, where N is the number of watches you currently own :D

If you are only ever in one mood, and if you only ever visit the same place for the same occasion, I think you'd be fine with a single watch :). I wear different watches as a small means of self expression, to reflect my mood, where I am, the occasion, the weather, who I'm with etc. etc.

Watch delivered today. I quite like it. Leather strap will take a while to get used to but it's so pretty.
