FS: Garmin Edge 25 -€44.99

Hi all I've posted this sale in the bargain alerts forum today and last time I picked one up I was asked if I could get another.

So this time around I picked up 2 and have one for sale which hasn't been opened. I assume it's in the box :eek:

Anyway it was bought for €44.99 so that's the price and not offers. Receipt etc included for warranty reasons.

They're a great little unit so more than happy to hang on to it.

I'll add photos if needed but google a Garmin edge 25 and it'll be identical

Both are gone I'm afraid. I got them in Aldi they sell them off in random stores around this time of year for €44.99 I picked one up last year in Cork and Carlow this year they may well be available in other stores if you check around.

just goes to show that the email i got from aldi responding to a complaint of mine previously, was unsurprisingly bull****.
i had emailed them to point out that under irish retail practice, they were not allowed display an item as 'reduced' for more than a certain period of time, and they had the edge 25 marked as reduced from €130 to €90 in pretty much every store i knew, for more than a year. got this response:
"On occasion, individual stores may reduce the price of a particular product. This could be for number of reasons, such as higher volume of surplus stock or restricted warehouse space. These reductions are made by the Store Managers at their own discretion and are displayed accordingly."

they seem to have, en masse, reduced them to €45 across the stores. so much for individual managers reducing them.

i did buy one though at €45.

It was the same case in the store I picked these ones up €129.99 for a while and then €89.99 I assume the constant changing was to avoid what you pointed out. First time they've dropped to €45 in this store so I'm not sure how en masse it is as last year I only found them in one store and checked a fair few in different counties on my travels.

Out of curiosity where did you pick yours up.?

aldi in finglas. the prices in aldi in santry, and in mulhuddart were the same as in finglas (prior to the reduction to €45, i've not been in those two branches since that drop, which happened in finglas about a week ago i guess).

i did buy one though at €45.

I went to buy one yesterday and they had it advertised at 125 euro in Aldi Mullingar
