Living with Lymes Disease Documentary Cancelled

There was a documentary due to be shown on RTE 1 on 18th October called "Living with Lymes Disease". I heard them talking about the disease on the radio a few times and there were lots of advertisements leading up to the release of the documentary. My mother was diagnosed with the disease last year so we were looking forward to learning more about it.

Low and behold when we switched over to watch the documentary RTE had decided to put on a repeat of Dragon's Den instead... >:(

They gave no explanation as to why it was cancelled and did not even reschedule it for another date.

Does anyone know why RTE do things like this? The only possible reason I can think of was that George Hook was one of the campaigners to raise awareness of the disease and they maybe didn't want to have his face on the television considering the recent controversy.
