My heating is currently controlled by an analogue thermostat which we basically just use as a switch turning it up and down depending on if we want heating on and off, what i want to do is change the thermostat over to a basic wifi switch that i can use a smartphone to switch it on and off via an app would rather a simple stand alone unit that just replaces the current thermostat rather than having to connect to a hub. Does anyone have any advice on how to go about this?
