Having air conditioning is great to clear it.

A clean windscreen goes a long way. I also use one of these https://www.amazon.co.uk/Pingi-LV-A300P6-EN-Dehumidifier-Home-Single/dp/B00I3VKBJS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1509387431&sr=8-1&keywords=pingi - and find it excellent at taking moisture out of the car.

I find using the aircon a bit of a mixed blessing, everything is fine until the temperature drops below zero and the aircon won't Run, the moisture that's on the evaporator gets blowin onto the windscreen and it can be nearly impossible to clear.

I use CarPro FogFight. I use it in my motorhome as they can really have problems with condinsation on glass as people are obviously sleeping in them, exhaling water.

Make sure the windscreen is spotless before you use it (I use IPA) and less is more when applying.

Also, as an aside, making sure the windscreen is spotless really reduces the condinsation as the water vapour has no dirt to condense on. Make sure that the air recirculation is off. You want to change the air in the car (to remove the water saturated air) and having the recirculation on only increased condinsation

Using the Air Con to clear the window is the fastest way to do it, but unfortunately the more you use it, the more the windows become susceptible to it occurring.
As mentioned, a good cleaning of the windscreen will go a long way, and not being tempted to give it a wipe with your hand because you are in a hurry.

CarPro FogFight is able to fend off steam from a kettle - check it out on YouTube!
