I'm looking for a farm loader and am interested in a terex 200 or terex 250. Looking for a machine 2002 to 2006 I'd say. As far as i know Terex bought the matbro loader and rebranded it. Does anyone have any experience of these machines

Neighbour has one. Bought new in 05 has massive hours on it. Only got downgraded last year to loader no 2. It is a super machine. I'm glad you're not considering a Manipoo :(

Budget is 15k. But there would be wiggle room if a machine that was worth an extra 1 or 2k popped up. I dont know am i being realistic or not.
I'm up North every werk with work, so ive going to look at 4 or 5 next week.

I havent heard great things about the Manitou MLA agri spec machines. I only know of one man locally with a Terex an he swears by it, but looking for other recommondations like your neighbour.
We have a terex dealer in cork who we have been doing business with for 30+ years, even before they were dealing terex

I'll be coming through NL and Be later on and will be stopping to view several Volvo loaders. One place in Be carries a lot of Terex so I'll keep an eye out.

Pm your requirements or mob no.

No. The 50b is going. I suppose we'll get some few pound for her.

My uncle has the EX for the last 10 years

Bought a 2002 manitou 526 mlt all hydraulic 4 years ago. Had to do 2 tracking rods, starter, front and back axle seals, master break cylinder and a crack front hydraulic ram. Sounds like alot but for a 15 year old machine and I give it serious use they were relatively just age related problems and easy fixes. Hydraulic ram was the worse as I had to get that sent away to get cut and rewelded. I'd highly recommend the machine but I don't think I'd be too quick to switch to electric boom.

Neighbour had a small Kramer. It lasted 2 years, and he now has a JCB 2cx. He wasn't joking when he said he spent more time fixing it than driving it. But I suppose there is a Friday afternoon machine in every batch

matbro 200 and the terex t200 which replaced it or probably the worst machines ive had the misfortune of driving ,
Kramer alrad are probably one of the best , from my own driving experience and a mechanic who recently put a hydraulic pump in a terex at 1300

Had 2 from new and don't have anymore. Second machine we bought was unloaded and had mechanic on his way before truck was back to dealer.
    Issues
New back axle in 6 mths
Several cab shocks in 12 mths
    Hyd pump * 2 in 24 mths
Air con we gave up after 4 attempts
Main drive 6mths in Dungstead for good measure
Several thermostats Was still getting hot the day we traded it
    New joystick
2 soft ride packs First failed causing arm to fall damaging a diet feeder
I could go on but I think you'll understand why we've JCB now.

Complete and utter piles of shyte

Anyone here using the old ex army jcb 410 to fill diet feeders.? Few of them still about with small hours for small money. I'm tempted...?

Snoefire JCB 410 big machine would need a bit of room for her have a read at the link contains some info.
If you want to use your new Terex to push up silage the 200 is on 16s which leaves her catching the grass and has narrower track than the 250 which is on 24s a lot higher plus wider track but they both are easily coupe on a pit.

Been looking at Kramers on the internet. They seem to have small wheels for field work. Does Kramer have a telescopic version

Yea I've seen a few in bad shape mainly the 2003 electric boom version. Just out of interest what model was it? Also me and the old man are the only people allowed drive mine as most people dog them by not stopping and just slapping them into reverse also they love pulling the hand brake to stop her dead. I'd have no problem getting a jcb either it's like tractors some models are great some are pure crap.

There's a good few of them around my area, lads that have them seem to be happy with them.
It's one of the reasons I was looking fgor the terex 200, as terex bought the Matbro design.

Looking at the JCB tm200 too, along with a few Kramers. But €15k won't get anything under15 years old unless it's wreaked
