Hi. My Mum’s satellite has lost the UK channels (again!!). First time I tried rescanning etc but no luck. She got someone to fix it - apparently took no time and all and only worked on the TV, so assuming the dish is fine. Gone again now. I see the satellite signal for RTE etc is in the 90% range but BBC etc is only 10%. Any ideas. Thanks

Have a look at the first video here. RTE is coming from her TV aerial not the satellite dish. There must be a fault with the dish or it's connections.

Cheers. It’s funny that repair man never left the TV the first time. Must look over his shoulder the next time😀

Second from top left is the satellite input marked LNB IN (screw on connection coming from satellite dish on house).

One below it is the Terrestrial (Saorview) Input, marked ANT IN plug in connection coming from aerial on roof.

Make sure connections are plugged in correctly.

I am assuming that you are using a satellite dish for the BBCs and that you are not near the border and receiving them off the aerial from Northern Ireland.

Make sure in the satellite menu that 28.2E is selected and that LNB is marked as powered on. If you place ok when in the list ity will place a heart like icon beside it. It is now selected.

Try scanning again. What are the percentenges for the Satellite channels.

It could be that your satellite dish has moved in the winds we had recently and will need to realigned.
