I had a bit of a head cold so I was unable to get my Flu Jab here in Ireland before heading off on a short holiday. So this year I got my Flu Jab on the Costa del Sol in Spain. First offer from the local Farmacia was a DIY needle kit for €7.50! When I said I wasn't up-to-speed on self injecting I was told to bring it to the local Health Centre and they would do the jab for €5. I declined and checked around and found another Farmacia that did the entire job on the spot, €12.95 all in. Same jab as we get here and no ill-effects. Less than half the price of last year's jab which was €30 in Boots.

I had the jab in Boots and it was 20 euro, apparently to buy the job wholesale here is around 12 euro according to my gp. To be honest I'd have thought it'd be even cheaper in Spain when you compare medicine costs. My gp provides the service for the same price but I had to wait a day or two so got it when collecting my prescription
