Budget wise I'd like to stay below €250. Anyone have one that they highly recommend? I'd be mainly using it for hunting with my air rifle but a decent max range would be appreciated too.

The Hawke range are good. Nice and compact and range quickly. Have the LRF 600 (600mtr) myself and find it accurate.
You can pay huge money but depends on what features you need and the range you shoot out to.
