Large bird in Wexford

Had 2 sightings today of a large bird flying and perching on a tree top.

First was this morning, looked slightly larger than buzzard with different body shape (slightly longer and not as plump), wings looked angular (if that makes sense).

Second was just now with bird perching on a low enough tree top (much bigger trees right beside it). Large white colored chest on front of bird and it looked like a large bird of prey. Definitely not buzzard.

I think (but not sure) that the two sightings are the same bird.

    Anyone any ideas?

From googling it that’s what I thought but I thought they were very rare.

I saw a pair in Wicklow of Ospreys. Very very vocal. I was amazed, didn't know they were here.

From looking at other pics on that irishbirding.com website it was definitely an Osprey.

    Thanks all.

They've dropped in as they migrate, stunning birds. Tried to catch a glimpse of the Wicklow birds a few weeks back. Heard them alright but didn't see them.
