    Hi lads,
Thinking strongly about going all out on the new semi automatic!
Has anybody priced up the Beretta a400 xtreme model recently? Will hope to get it with the max 4 or max 5 finish.
    Thanks

    Hello,
I had an A400 Xtreme for 3 seasons . Current price North of €2500 at a guess .

The camo will wear off the stock and forend , plastic parts and then show white underneath, I had the Marsh Optifade version . . That gun is 3.5 inch cart chambered and is a heavy beast though I shot it well I now use a A400 Action 12 g 3in , 26 in and its a cracking gun cost €2,400 .

For what its worth , if you are Saltwater Ducking non stop go the Xtreme route , if you want a more all round Gun the Action is the way to go .

When I went to trade the Camo Gun nobody was interested in it , only wanted the timber version not the plastic one.

I have the a400 lite its chambered for 3inch but will shoot and eject 2 3/4 which is plenty and it's seriously light and fast shooting. I think they come in a wood stock as well as synthetic. Their a nice bit cheaper than the unico and the difference seems to only be 3 1/2 inch chamber and the how the forend cap is locked in place. I got a set of chokes and shims with it to.

I traded in my u/o for an a400 lite about a year ago and I still regret it to be honest, the gun is fantastic but I just miss my ould o/u.
