How do you remember? I have drove away from trailers a few rimes now with the lights and brakes still attached. To many hours lost fixing it at this stage. Any clever ways to remember to disconnect?
    Thanks.

I disconnect the lights and brakes first then the hitch.

The RSA have a picture in their information booklet of the brakeaway cable wrapped around the hitch, which seems nonsensicle...

Put a sticker dash like a check list.

Put the cable of the hitch and use a bungee rope or cable tie so you would have to remove to get to hitch.

I think your suppose to clip it onto the drawbar structure if it’s available. That’s what instructure said to me
