    Hi all
I seem to have this problem on and off the last couple of years with different stock bulls.
The problem is when I let him out to a cow in Heat his mad for action doing everything right but not pulling the trigger. The bull in question at the moment was houses 2-3 weeks ago and is been feed just silage alone as he is in good condition. He worked fine all summer as all cows were scanned in calf during the week. Has anyone else any experience of this?

Jumping on slats? Have a bull here only used during the summer but he won't jump in the parlour, not confident enough in the grip id say. I'm happy he doesn't but obviously not much good to you.
Could you make a pen on concrete or a stand off pad so they could go there to jump?

As it is I'm letting him out onto a concrete yard or into a small garden beside shed to do job but still no good. No problems with his feet either.

Are you sure he isnt getting the job done without you seeing it ?
