Last Sunday it was largely flooded (Ross Castle) side. Does anybody know if it has cleared(29th Oct 2017) or if there's a way to quickly find out at this hour of the morning? Thought the park or tourism board might tweet something about it but can't find anything.

Ring the Park Rangers? Presume they have someone on, telephoned them on Stephens Day a few years back when I found a deer wrapped in a fence and they answered.

Thanks Conor, I got the train in the end and risked it.

Lake has receded for the most part, it was good to walk in.
