Gap between conservatory windows and wall

    Hi all
Recently moved into a house which has a conservatory out the back. On the outside the finish isn't the best and we were told we should get the bit between the top of the windows and the wall closed off as, hopefully you can see in the photos, it isn't sealed fully. Can anyone please tell me what I need to do?? It's about 18ft long and it's too big in places to use a filler. Should I get some sort of strip or plastic moulding to fill it and get it plastered or filled some way?
    Thanks

I'd imagine it needs something like a plastic or wire mesh and plaster. Is there lintels or what's the construction on conservatory ?

    Hi needles
Had to Google what a lintel was there! Not 100% what it's constructed with, it's a concrete like finish on the outside at the bottom but not sure about higher up. It wasn't finished well as a whole to be honest, it looks nice but we're in about 2 months now and we're noticing a lot of small things in it which need proper finishing.

Looks like there was originally a different window unit fitted then new pvc windows fitted with a different finish profile to the top of the units.
Prob look into pumping expanding foam into the gaps while taking care to protect the window units from waste foam .
When it's set pear off flush with the plaster.
Then either plaster in the return using a patent reveal profile finish or else a 2x1 painted hard wood timber lath fixed to cover the joint

thanks bonzo. so i should get some expanding foam for the gaps and then get a plasterer in to tidy it up.
