I'm a 4th year in college and i'm just looking for recommendations from people who have learned to code in Scala did you use online video tutorials such as Udemy/Lynda if so could you post which ones you found useful.

TutorialsPoint have a pretty decent walk-through of it, the basics that is:

THE recommended resource is the coursera course on Scala, taught by the guy who made the language.

Almost every time I look for resources on learning Scala, this gets recommended.
