Hi

The clutch went in my car last night . I've been driving 34 years and this is the first time I've ever had to replace a clutch!

Really embarrassing as I was reverse parking in a multi-storey . Anyway, called the breakdown truck which came pretty lively and towed my poor baby away.

I wanted to ask - How much would we expect to pay (roughly) to replace the slave cylinder in an 07 Fiesta?

Clutch master cylinders gave a bit of bother on those. The rod comes off the clutch pedal. Its a simple fix if its that. New clutch and slave cylinder fitted would be about 350 to 400.

Slave went on a Fiesta I had years ago. It's concentric thus needs the box out to replace, €130 plus vat from Ford

Went on my sister's 08 Fiesta last year too, it's a common weakness on Fiestas and other Fords of that vintage.
