GLAS Payment 2017

Anyone know when the 85% payment will be issued for Glas 2017 tranche 1? Or where that information will be found?

Hopefully we won't be left hanging again..

Sometime in November we are lead to believe.. in the day job of i told them i would pay them sometime in November it would be the last time i would have to pay them!
Still advocating for a payments calendar for farmers.. rant over..

There's hope and then there's reality.
It's probably a case of guessing a month and then guessing a year from the following selection - 2017 or 2018.

P.S. The above hypothesis does NOT apply to the salary payments of any staff in the Department of Agriculture.

I had a good laugh after reading your post :rolleyes:
According to the original terms and conditions of GLAS 1 we are due the payment not before the 16th of October annually :rolleyes: and only after administrative checks. Hopefully some of our taxes have been spent improving the computer/administrative systems for this year.

Still waiting on most of 2016 payment here. There are a lot of IT issues still and a lot of lads still waiting on correct payments. I was speaking to someone high up in department on this and they don't think the systems will be ready for payments until next year.

Perhaps your time would be better spent taking action instead of sneering.

€5,000 per year for light touch farming is something I certainly don't take lightly and am glad to be eligible.

The delay in payments isn't ideal, but as I didn't call my TD or do anything to expediate the process, I'll be quite happy when I do receive payment.

I was on to the DAFM last week and was told that the Glas 1 85% advance payment would commence in early to mid December.

We got our 85% on the 29th of December last year but an awful lot of payments were delayed. Hopefully the Dept have got the computer glitches sorted out so that everyone (who qualifies) can receive their payment before year end. Its going to be a difficult Winter for a lot with fodder shortages, so it is imperative that this money comes in on time this year.

Has anyone else's Glas payment been held up due to area issues with their WBC ?
Not sure exactly what the problem is as that's all they will tell me

Are you sure its Glas? balancing payments for sfp issued today, just got text, still awaiting GLAS!!

Its not accounted for that way, same as if you owe somebody money for 2017 you carry it as if you have paid ASAIK you account for it as though it was paid in 2017

Correct 2017 payment can go into 2017 accounts
