    Or can I just leave it at any eir store with my account number and obtain a receipt that I have returned it and not liable for any charges? I sent 2 x private messages over the past few days but received no reply

    Hi there Thegalwayman

    All you need to do is contact Customer Care where they will go through the process with you, what address you need to send this to & explain any bill related queries you might have on the same calls.

    Not very convenient for me
    Completely understand but it's better to do this correctly and you know that everything on your bill is sorted and returning the device to the correct address
