    Hi Folks

Trying to get an iMac back up and running.

I have installed Lion (internet recovery) onto it and it runs fine, except when I try to download anything from the internet (like El Capitain) msg pops up saying that there was a problem and need to restart the machine..

Anyways, I've downloaded a -torrent - version of Mountain Lion (latest version that I can burn to a DVD) dropped it onto the desktop, run it, and apple doesn't like it, won't install.

I don't have any other apple device to work with, so need somewhere I can download a 'good' image of mountain lion from, that isn't the app store.

    Anyone any suggestions?
