Registered Gas Installer needed Carlow Area

My Mothers Baxi Gas Boiler is fecked, any recommendations for installer to fix in the Carlow area ? she tried to get a few people out but they're all booked up for some time and she has no heat.

The Boiler is around 14 years old and it gives trouble every year, any idea what she'd be looking at for new boiler fitted and I presume it would be better than about 70% efficient ? which is the current boiler efficiency if I remember correctly.

My Mother is now thinking about getting oil, cheaper ? or would a modern boiler make a difference ? I don't particularly find Gas cheap especially with the rental charges she won't have to pay with Oil when she doesn't use it in Summer.

Natural gas is cheaper. If she’s worried about the constant bill then get a pay as you go meter installed

Only thing to remember is with a pay as you go meter there is a meter charge of €0.33 every day if heating is used or not

+ Gas is on the way up and they charge you rental in the Summer when you don't use it.
