Just wondering when you miss a day at a course under the SOLAS/ETB that covers your payment do you loose the money for that day or is it a percentage reduction? Where can I find the rules online to read them as well?

40 euro a day I think unless you have a doctors cert.

I am on €128 as an adult dependent with €4 as a training allowance. I was told because I come in 15 minutes late 3 days a week I might be docked can they do that?

If you're missing 45 mins a week every week without a very good reason they probably can.

Perhaps find a way to get there on time?

Depends on the instructor I guess but yes they can do that.

I have a genuine reason but the instructor didn't appear like they wanted to listen to it will just have to get there earlier. I guess family issues are not enough of a reason even though I participate give input my own knowledge and experience to the course help others out and above all do my work to a high standard and assignments in on time.

Do you know where I can find online rules and regulations they have to adhere to and read that just to see? I wanted clarity on how much I would have been potentially docked but that wasn't given either.

To be fair you couldn't turn up for work late three times a week so perhaps try and view it the same way.

This is the thing. If you have family commitments that prevent you from full participation then your not entitled to Jobseekers.
I can never understand why people don’t explore more a possible entitlement to FIS or Carers Allowance as an alternative to Jobseekers.

I don't I'm afraid but You're instructor should have given you guidelines at the start of the course, sorry I can't be more helpful.
