    hi folks,going to invest in a 60-65 inch tv for christmas(,i worked hard all year)have around a grand to spend,maybe a bit more,so any suggestions please,thanks all.

    Not so much tv advice as dealer advice. Check out Richersounds in the Talk to section of Boards. They'll advise you on the latest models, may have open-box deals available and give a guarantee of 6 years ( I think ) which is door-to-door. No links to them, just a customer. Check out their website as a starting point.

    I have a Samsung 48" LED Smart TV that's just great.. full HD (not convinced of the need for 4K/UHD yet and gimmicks like curved or 3D don't interest me), 4 HDMI ports, Saorview support and apps like Netflix and Plex. It even has voice control :p

    About the only other things I'd like are a Satellite/Freesat feed and a bigger 55" screen.
