I got two texts and an email today claiming to be from Parcel Motel; all informing me that I have insufficient funds to cover the delivery of items. I have my ordered anything to be delivered to Parcel Motel and have never actually used them since setting up an account a few months ago. I did order a lot of stuff off Amazon last week and still waiting on some stuff, but would they be attempting delivery to Parcel Motel without informing me? I don't remember linking the PM account to my Amazon account..

Check your Amazon account and in particular the recent orders - it will show the address they were dispatched to, obviously Amazon can only have PM details if you put them in

Unless you gave Amazon the address as PM they wouldn't know. Provided your Amazon delivery address is your home address, it's a scam.

Login to your parcel motel account to see it this is true. But, not from any links on the text or email you received, find the real site via
    your browser

Good chance it is a scam as you're not expecting anything via PM.
I regularly receive fake emails from them, but the text is a new one for me which is why I wouldn't completely discount it.

    Don't worry about it!
In the last 2 months I got the same messages.
Best is to login to parcel motel and check.
Must be the system not picking up the right details?

Hopefully that's all it is and nothing more sinister!

Checked amazon and parcel motel and all looks in order! Thanks everyone!
