My parents have Triax HD 115 box and after a full scan it doesn't save the channels ,and I get an message saying no new services have been added and in another message on screen it says 37 services have stopped transmitting ,

It saves 4 channels RTE1 ,be3,RTE junior and RTE +1 is the box knackered?

I'm in Dundalk and the Multiplex (Mux.) with RTE 1 is 92% signal strength on my receiver. The other one with RTE 2 is only 69%.

If their TV is in Louth those are coming from Clermont Cairn, Channel number 52 722 MHz (RTE 2) and Channel 56 754 MHz (RTE 1).

The signal on Channel 52 is too weak at their location to scan in any channels, possibly due to the aerial having moved in the storm.

Click on the Saorview1 and Saorview2 links here to see the full list of channels on each Mux. Confusingly RTE 1 is on Mux 2, and RTE 2 is on Mux 1.

They may have been getting UK signals from the North before as well which are also gone.
