Brain teaser? Moons Distance

Could we find the moons distance by using the moons rise set times as tangent lines?

Check an ephemeris for the moons rise/set times.

Each month for two days the moon rises and sets within 9 hours in the Northern Hemisphere.

    Please send me your solution!
