Smart Turbo in a Shed advice

    Hi

I got the kickr snap and am using trainerroad with it and am loving it (well as much as you can love the pain).
They have to be other people out there with my same problem (cycling and the Wife). So I have been using the smart turbo in the kitchen at night when I get the kids to bed and the wife is in the sitting room and she say she does not mind but when she has to get something from the kitchen all I hear is oh it is cold in here with that door, window open, oh it smells in here etc., also she says it is not to relaxing hearing me grunt and groan etc. Also it takes me 10 min to set the turbo up and take it down.

So I have a small wooden shed with a tin roof at the back of the garden which is not fully water tight (with really heavy rain the side walls get wet only), and I was thinking of running an extension lead from the kitchen to the shed, about 30 foot. Does anyone do this and if so do they just use a normal extension lead. My only fear is electrocuting myself.

Long term solation would be get a power point in the shed, but as I am only renting and hope to move out soon I do not feel like paying out all that money, or would this cost a lot.

run the extension lead out and stick a cover over (put it in a bag or something) it in the "leaky" shed if its lashing rain. you'll be grand! :-)

Get a good set of headphones and you won't hear her.
