    Hi

Just wondering if anyone can help as I can’t find clear answers online .

My husband gets the btwea and he claims for me as a qualifying adult .

For year 1 we get 100% of the payment and in year 2 we get 75% so what I’m wondering is how the 75% is calculated ..

Do we get 75% of the overall payment or is his payment refunded to 75% but we still get the full rate for qualifying adult ?

So say his rate on his own would be €188 and he gets 120 for me do they reduce his 188 by 25% and add the 120 on or do they reduce the total payment by 25% ? Sorry if I’m not explaining myself correctly and thank you in advance for any help
