Anyone been to kilcock lately? Heard you can't go rummage for your own stuff anymore, any truth to this or is it still as it was? Much prefer being able to take the bits off myself and plenty of times I've come across bits by accident on cars that I've decided to get and otherwise never would .

    Hadn't heard it
Surprised it went on as long as it did, what with people potentially robbing parts, people trying to remove stuff and breaking it in the process and then the insurance implications of people who might not know what they're doing rummaging around scrap cars, especially in this sue happy state we've become

I can't blame them to be honest, was surprised the craic of being able to take stuff off yourself lasted this long.

When I was there last there was a madman removing parts from a car on its side propped up by tyres.

Went down this morning. All is as it was. Had a good rummage. Crisis averted :)

    Happy days!!
Youd want to be a brave man to rob anything from them. I seen the big lad grab a foreign guy by the throat and lift him off his feet after he opened his tool box and found aload of parts that he hadnt paid for. Great place. Spent many a saturday morning rummaging around. Best find over there was an mtec1 spoiler off an e30
Bought it for 30 euro sold it later for 350 pounds sterling

Kilcock's a great place to go for a rummage alright. And the lads are fairly decent, often loaning you tools etc. As others have said, I wouldn't f**k with them tho, and they have the biggest dog I've ever seen my life! At the end of the day, what would you do if someone was trying to rob ya!
