Prozac for teenagers

    Hi.
    My son Adam has been suffering with anixity for the last 4 months.
    I've been sending him to private counselling.
    Which doesn't seem to be helping.
    Today the doctor put him on Prozac.
    I don't know how to feel about this.
    Has anybody got advice ?

    This would be far better suited to PI or Long Term Illness.

    Medical advice is not permitted - best to talk to a professional about this. The doc should have explained all the ins & outs of this drug and its benefits & side effects. Ring them back for more info, or talk to Aware, they may be able to help you. Best of luck with it all, its a long road.
