Salus ST621RF not working/pairing

    Hi,

I've moved into a new apartment (rental). The thermostat is a Salus ST621RF and the receiver on the gas boiler does not have a manufacturer/model number on it but looks like a Vbc600rx from Salus.

The issue is that despite the tx indicating that it is requesting heat - heat mode indicator (two jagged lines) is displayed - there is no heat being produced by the boiler.

The receiver unit has an LED on the left hand side which should be indicating when there is a demand for heat. This is flashing quickly.

I've tried performing the Pairing function - no success. I've also tried replacing the batteries with new Duracell batteries and then pairing again - no success.

The boiler does work - as I can obtain hot water for showers and sinks. I can also get the heating to work when I slide the mode switch on the Boiler Control to On.

So it seems like there is a synchronisation/pairing issue between the ST621RF transmitter and the receiver unit on the boiler.

Any ideas as to how this can be resolved?

    Thanks.

I think that I need to press and hold the Sync button on the receiver on the boiler. Is this correct?
