Storage heater

Hi - I have a storage heater in my apartment . The electrician indicated that it was set incorrectly and that it needed to be loooked at by the electricity company . My bill has doubled since it was turned on . I called the electricity company and they have said that unless there is a fault it will cost me 200 euro for a call out .

Any advice on what to do and how to cut costs on electricity for the storage heater would be much appreciated

What does set incorrectly mean. You really should phone up the sparks and get specifics that could mean anything.

Storage heating should be on a night rate meter. This meter operates at night to charge the system and is on a lower rate than normal.
