    Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone can advise on the best value water softener on the market.

I am on a group water scheme and the water is very hard. I know exactly where my water pipe is in my front lawn (I put it down myself) so I can build a manhole and install the softener myself.

The water is fine for drinking so I'm not concerned about installing a new drinking water tap, I'm just looking the reduce the calcium build up on my appliances/taps etc.

Damn, I though at least 1 plumber here would have some sort of an opinion on this

A clack softener IMO is the best on market and I have tried other ones and clack is far superior. Have a look galwaywater.ie a lot good info on that site

I'm not in the trade either tho

    + 1 for this post.

I've no connection with them either. Clack is the top company in Meters etc.
