I have and still am a Vodafone customer.
They bought the land-line Business from my previous service provider (UTV) about 5 years ago and i automatically became a customer.
Over the last about two years the broadband was continually deteriorated and for the last year i continually called 1907 call centre based in Cairo to try to get it sorted as i preferred the land-line.
Eventually i gave up and signed up for mobile broadband with Vodafone and though its only ok i think its better.
When i was doing this i told them that because i had not received the product i needed i was expecting to be considerably discounted on my last bill and really expected it to be written off.
I got one bill and maybe a reminder, when i went to contact Vodafone on 1907 the call was not allowed as i am no longer a customer.
To my astonishment they passed my bill (€90) on to a debt collector and i am now getting threatening letters of a legal nature.
I have not decided what i am going to do and welcome any advise.
I am really concerned at this heavy-handed way of doing business and wonder is there anywhere i can take this.

    Many thanks

    Hi,

I am a vodafone customer and phone stolen Saturday 25th.

Do vodafone customer service come on here? If so id like to disable the device by giving you an IMEI.
I got a lend of a phone and then i went into a shop and got a new sim card with old number.
I was told also that IMEIs can be changed on a device is that correct?

    Thanks
    Steve

Really you're mostly wasting your time.

A block applies nationally only, so they just sell it to the UK where it will work perfectly.

Additionally the IMEI can be modified on some devices, its a crime to do so in most countries, but can be done.
