Not sure if this is the right forum, so feel free to move

My local community are trying to set up a system that we can call a number of people who are trained in aed are paged in effect simultaneously, so that the closest person can respond.

What's app only sends text messages which most people have on silent at night so we feel it wouldn't work.

    Anyone any ideas

Not 100% clear from your post, do you want to automatically init a call to a list of people? If that's the case and the problem is that they don't hear texts because of silent mode then it won't solve your problem because silent mode covers incoming calls too?

You can use Twilio API's to do things like this - https://www.twilio.com/

But I think you might be after a ready made application that does this?

You can generally exclude certain numbers from silent mode, for both calls and SMS
