Straw bale houses

    I am planning a new build in co Kerry
    Looking for any information about straw bale houses
    Timber frame with straw bale in fill construction or load bearing straw bale
    Anything would be greatly appreciated
    It will be a bungalow 1380 sq ft,with attic conversion down the line

    Hi, we built a Straw bale house and have been in it for about 6 years. It's a post and beam timber frame so the walls aren't load-bearing, I thought it was the best option. Pay attention to dpc's, around openings and the eaves detail, where the top of the wall meets the roof
