I am about to close on a house purchase and stupidly have misplaced my marriage certificate. I need it by Friday- any one have any idea if I go to the HSE registry office tomorrow would they be able to issue me with one?

Yes, they will, I think there is a €25 (or there abouts) charge for it.

Yes they definitely will, just check what you need to bring as proof and you can pop in to get it.

Normally you order from the website below (can't post a direct link because I am new member on boards) but I doubt it would be here by Friday. Perhaps give them a call?

Gosh, why would you pay them 40 for a marriage cert when all they do is go to the official HSE site and get it for 20?

Official site is http://www.certificates.ie or http://www.hse.ie/eng/services/list/1/bdm/Certificates/

You don't need anything as proof, anyone can obtain a copy of your marriage cert or birth cert. You just need date and place of marriage and names of bride and groom.
