Galvanised Nissans?

    Might anyone know if 1990s Nissans had galvanised bodies??

    They can rust quite badly, if that's an answer!

    I've an 89 Z32 that isn't rusty above, beneath or anywhere hidden to most (obviously surface rust on consumables like arms, joints etc)

    Car is kept outside too

    My wife had 2 90s Micras where the sills and crossmember turned to dust.

    Well they wouldn't of been exactly gavanised but like nearly all manufacturers they would of been dipped in an e coat. The quality of this varies from manufacturer to manufacturer however.

    Early to mid 90's nissans seemed to fair better against rust than the newer models that replaced them. Cars like the almera seemed to rust more than the sunny they it replaced.
