HSE Marriage Interview Documents

    Hi folks,

Myself and my SO are having our HSE interview on Thursday for our upcoming marriage. We're both Irish and very much looking forward to the big day and just want to tick this interview appointment off of our lists.

One issue - the house utility bills are all in my name. We do have a joint bank account with statements issued to our address with both of our names on it. Would that be acceptable? Otherwise I would be bringing the utility bills in my name and the tenancy contract which is in my SOs name I believe.

We were convinced we had both of our names on at least one bill...can't believe we left it this late to check but will it be a big deal?

Bring the lease and the joint account letter, better too much paperwork then too little!

We brought tonnes of stuff with us but she only photocopied a few things in the end but she saw we had brought it all.

They didn't even ask us for proof of address but just bring what you have. It only takes about 15 minutes.

    That's fantastic, thanks folks.

If your OH has a driving licence, that would have their address on it. Although that would only work if it's the current address. I think the bank statement should do the job though.

Unfortunately it's a different address on the driving licence but hopefully the bank statement should do the trick. Her name is also on the rental contract for the house!

It will do but make sure to bring it, my wife didn't have anything with her that showed our current address at the time and we had to post it in to them after we had the interview.
