    Hey All,

I am in between minds on these 3 bands (the playlist, Midnight Revellers & The Seducers). Has anyone seen them and have any reviews we have only been reviewing via youtube to date. Looking for Sept 19, but amazing how some bands are already booked out

Theyre all really good. you wouldnt go wrong with any of them

In demand bands go 18-24 months out for popular dates. Its hotels then bands in that order. Sometimes the other way round.

Will all bands play the old style music also? We would have family both sides who love the old style dancing i.e waltzing etc? The best men have also come available too. they are probably our favourite, have many people seen them and how do they compare to the others?

Every pro band should be able to.

Some automatically do it as part of the set, some do it only when asked beforehand, some only do it on the night when it looks like theres an olderish crowd that could do with a waltz/rocknroll jive and other genres arent working.

Some bands only do older stuff.

If thats what you want, just ask them, bands are only too happy to accommodate that type of request. At least they should be if they want to eat.

Im in a band, I know the 4 youve mentioned here. Theyre all pro bands, you should get a great night out of any of them. what one of them is like to the other would be objective imo on the night in question. You shouldnt go wrong anyway.

    +1

Most pro bands will have it as part of the set. A lot of times B+G's will request it in advance and if not, the band will play it by ear and pull it out if necessary. A good band will read a room very well and pull out the best repertoire from the crowd that's there.
