I recently bought a car that has an integrated bluetooth radio. Since having it I've noticed that I get ads for newstalk, when browsing on my phone, I don't think I ever got them before. My question is, when the radio is connected to the phone, does google (or whoever) get information about what radio station you are…

Ah I think that is down to the app that controls your tv remotes etc. I cant think of the name of the app but it done that on my s6 after certain updates.
