hi i seen aldi have some dehumidifiers on special this week and it got me thinking that this would come in handy in my house. did a small bit of research and found out that their one is a condenser which is not as good at lower temperatures. so any suggestions on a better option.

    budget +/- 200e

    I recently got this EcoAir DC18 Compact Portable Dehumidifier, 18 L https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0194MCV0G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_6hX9zbHEJ12RM

It has good reviews. The 18 might be overkill as I have a 2 bed apt. So far I’m happy with it. To early to know the difference it makes and figuring out the time to use it.

There does not seem to be a huge selection in Irish retailers.

i went ahead and got the ecoair mk 5 https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B008BZVCVM and so far so good, bearing in mind i have nothing to compare it with. i had it on its lowest setting the first night and had to turn it off as i was feeling a bit dry in the mouth. its amazing to see the amount of water in the air around the house. havent used it with drying clothes yet.
